The Gate Governors Club is a unique club membership experience, in which members belong to two or more of the Gate-owned clubs: Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, Epping Forest Yacht Club, The Lodge & Club and The River Club. These four Jacksonville clubs are conveniently located to give members access to all Northeast Florida has to offer.

The Governors Club was created in 1990 in response to an outpouring of requests from members of the Gate-owned clubs. Members expressed a desire to expand their membership privileges in order to sample the variety of amenities and activities offered at the other "sister" clubs. Governors Club membership makes it possible to gain access to any combination of two, three or four of the Gate clubs.
